THERE IS ONLY THE DANCE

There is only the dance – two act play, 3 women, 4 men (90 mins)

‘There is only the dance’ is an unromantic comedy set in the present day.  It is the story of Andrew, haunted by ghosts from his boyhood, seeks to escape from self-imposed limitations in order to lead a, truer, less messy life.

There’s also Grandma, who talks to a Teddy Bear because it’s better than being alone and Danni, who feigns pregnancy on the train in order to get a seat but clearly hasn’t been careful what she wished for.

It’s a tale of letting go, loss and love.  The fear of loneliness; human weakness and finding the courage to make the change.
